*Proceeds benefit Kids and Canines, an assistance dog training program.

The Kids and Canines program was started 11 years ago in Hillsborough County, Florida as an anti-truancy initiative. This innovative program pairs truant (not delinquent) middle school teens with a golden retriever to train to be an assistance dog for individuals with physical disabilities or children with autism. The students are paired with an 8 week old puppy and are taught to do the actual ‘hands on’ instructions for the 18-month period it takes to train the dog to perform over 60 commands. These commands include turning on light switches, retrieving articles, removing laundry from dryers, opening doors, and helping with the shopping.

It is a night of comedy with comedian BILL BURR and some of his funny friends, vegetarian buffet by Gary Arabia, signature cocktails by Vitamin Water, music and dancing, and one of L.A.’s most exciting silent and live auctions. We will be honoring PRISCILLA PRESLEY for her generosity towards animals, rescuing horses, and other charitble efforts, United Talent Agent JACOB FENTON for his unwavering support of Much Love, and Animal Advocates CAROLE RAPHAELLE DAVIS & CAROLE SAX for their relentless efforts to ban puppy mills.
